Caity and Nick got married on September 25th, and had the most perfect and beautiful Michigan autumn day for their wedding. We were thrilled to take the very short trip over to a (new to us) Metro Detroit wedding venue. We couldn’t wait to visit, and see how their Youngblood Vineyard wedding came to life after he description- and capture some amazing photographs along the way. Both Courtney and I love wine, but with weddings and families taking up our weekend times during the nicer months, admittedly we haven’t been exploring some local vineyards in a really long time. We were thrilled to learn all about Youngblood Vineyard, and can’t wait to book more weddings there in the future because it was seriously a highlight of the year for us.

We met Caity over the winter at our fave local coffee shop, Cafe Nola. She told us all about her vineyard wedding, and it sounded amazing. They were planning on getting married down in the vineyards by the large tree, but since there’s been so much rain lately, it all got relocated right up closer to the front of the property. But the owner Jess was awesome, took us for a ride in the side by side and showed us some pretty great spots for photos, and gave us free reign of the property to really showcase everything in the best way possible. We also were able to reconnect with Tiffani and Lucas that we photographed earlier this summer, because they’re all close friends- so it was almost like we were also invited to their friend party, too.

We’re already talking about visiting Youngblood Vineyard again soon- and we also both came home with some bottles we purchased ourselves while we were there too. And we were also able to network quite a bit, sample the BEST macarons we’ve ever had (made by the bride’s mom!), and work with some familiar vendors like the florist.
