Megan and Brian have a pretty hysterical and special love story, led with humor. They laughed when they told us they originally met on Tinder. And we love them for that, and also love that Brian specifically remembers Megan’s old tagline of, “Tinder is like an old boyfriend that you just can’t quit.” We love happy and funny couples, and appreciate when they find us and we get to play a small role in their love story.

Their 2022 wedding is scheduled to happen in Downtown Port Huron, so having their urban theme engagement session downtown was important to them. We are excited to be local, and their City Flats wedding photographer team for their wedding next year. We got to have quite the adventure on their engagement session, waiting for the string lights to turn on enough for them to show up in photos. It is pretty rare that we are waiting for it to be dark, rather than living for that golden sunlight and wishing it wouldn’t go away so quickly. Luckily we got to hang out, explore, and capture it all together.

It’s always funny to do a photo session in downtown, especially now that there is the social district, where you can legally street-drink. People were hopping in to join them for photos, yelling and congratulating them, honking- the whole nine yards. We warned them that their wedding day was going to up a few notches from that hype level, too.

Brian works as a 911 dispatcher, and Megan works as a nurse. We loved hearing their stories of their work over the past year, too. We are thrilled they chose to hang out with us for the night, and that we get to do it all again in 2022 for their City Flats Port Huron wedding.
