We may have mentioned this (at leas 700 times this year alone) but we love Solitude Links. Aside from the fact that it’s practically in our backyards, it’s our favorite wedding venue in the Port Huron area because of it’s classic beauty. That’s why we’ll never pass up an opportunity to photograph a summer Solitude Links wedding, and loved every moment of being Lauren and Michael’s Port Huron area wedding photographer team a couple weeks ago.

Lauren and Michael got married on August 19, 2023 and had the most beautiful Michigan summertime day. The day was the perfect temperature for the outdoor ceremony, and that went beautifully. The two of them had a super relaxed timeline and since the guys arrived dressed, Courtney and I both got to tackle some elements of the “getting ready” photos together, from the details all the way to the lovely bridesmaids that were the perfect amount of hype for the day.

Their reception was top notch and we loved working alongside Ultimate Sounds who was spinning the sick beats (shout out to Lee- he’s a co-worker turned friend at this point). Since they also hired a videographer for the day, we had quite the team moving in tandem and were sure to catch all the special in-between moments and angles that we know they’re going to love. Their reception area was stunning and the florals and desert tables really kicked it up a bunch of notches and made is especially memorable.
