Jessica and Dan have an amazing love story, and we were so stoked when they chose us to do their Solitude Links Wedding Photography for their August 2019 wedding. The two of them met when Jess was still in high school, at church. In fact, we noticed that many of their lasting friendships started with “we met at church” or “we met at church camp.” Years passed, and Jess and Dan met up as adults once again, and fell in love. The two of them have a fun relationship, full of adoration, and adventure with each other. Between both of their busy graduate schools schedules, they planned a beautiful wedding at one of our favorite venues: Solitude Links Golf Course and Banquet Center. Then they headed off for a week long hiking trip in the Rocky Mountains outside of Denver.

Jess and Dan both got ready and had their first look at the house on the Solitude Links property, and it was beautiful to photograph inside and around. The guys were downstairs in the basement playing pool, Foosball, and euchre, while the girls were upstairs on the main floor primping and having a fun time hanging out with each other. Their first look was on the back patio area, as was Jess’ first look with her Dad. Then we went and did some bridal party photos, and relaxed for a bit before the outdoor ceremony started. The weather that day was literally perfect; it wasn’t too hot or too cold, and had big white puffy clouds and an epic sunset. In the spirit of adventure, the 4 of us headed out on a golf cart around the property, and found some beautiful wildflower fields, and then some stunning fluffy wheat colored grass for the evening sunset photos. We got so many looks and feels, all by staying on the grounds and exploring together. Sunset photos were important for the two of them, and we loved that special private time with them capturing them.
