We met with Megan and Brian last summer for their downtown Port Huron engagement session, and couldn’t wait until their big day came in May. Megan and Brian had a beautiful Port Huron City Flats Wedding on May 7, 2022. The weather was beautiful and gave us awesome blue skies and ideal not-so-hot and not-so-cold weather for a beginning of May wedding; we all know that Michigan can be a complete gamble weather-wise in May.

We told you all about the two of them on their last blog (check that out here) but meeting the two of them again and hanging out with their entire friend group and family really helped solidify how much fun they are, and just how much they truly love each other, too. Courtney got to hang out with the girls in the morning, and Megan went over to the Double Tree where the guys were and did a mini tour for photos underneath the bridge, as well as at the train museum (they’re always so awesome and generous suggesting good photos and letting wedding parties in for a train photo-op.) Then we headed over to City Flats for their gorgeous ceremony. Brian’s reaction was one for the books- so sweet. After their ceremony we went on a little jaunt with their large wedding party around downtown and hit up some of our favorite locations for some group shots and fun. After that, we spent a bit doing portraits of the two of them before heading back in time for their grand entrance into their reception.

We had the honor of working with an awesome fellow industry friend for videography: 97 Films. Katie and Bo were fun to hang around with, and we were laughing all day with the humor and wit flying. We love being local to Port Huron and shooting at City Flats because we feel like we get a fun experience of showing off our awesome quaint town to people.
