Hannah and Devin contacted us earlier this year to be their Lexington Wedding Photographer for their upcoming June 2017 wedding happening at the Knights of Columbus in Lexington, Michigan. We loved getting to know Hannah and Devin and their families and family dynamics. They both come from very large families, and we really enjoyed watching their genuine interactions with each member of their families, from preschool-aged half brothers to infant nephews. We could immediately tell that family values are huge to Devin and Hannah, and that their special day was going to be filled with emotion, and jam-packed with love.

Hannah’s family rented out some adorable beach cottages, and her entire family filled up the row-houses, so the getting ready photos were fun, because we simply had to walk into the next cottage to find a different scene in each one. After the bridal party and family were ready, we just walked down to the beach for some photos before the ceremony. A little fun tidbit about Hannah and Devin is that they actually had gotten married a month before that, in May, and had just returned from their month-long honeymoon in Spain. Their original ceremony took place inside their temple, where only a few people were in attendance. Because of that, they wanted to do another ring exchange ceremony where they invited family and friends to witness and celebrate their union, and then had a reception afterwards, as well.

After the ceremony, we went and explored some great picturesque locations around Lexington, Michigan. We adore Lexington and being Lexington Wedding Photographers because there are so many quaint spots that offer so many options, from gorgeous Lake Huron shoreline, to beautiful pine trees and thick woods. And throughout their entire day, we loved watching Hannah and Devin tell jokes with each other, give each other knowing and loving glances, and celebrate openly and proudly with their friends and family.
