You first met Taylor and Brandon last summer when we photographed their beautiful engagement session at one of our fave photography spots in Port Huron. To carry on with the “fave” theme, their wedding was at our favorite wedding venue in Port Huron: Solitude Links. Taylor and Brandon got married on the most beautiful weathered day of June 24, 2022. We enjoyed being their Kimball Michigan Wedding Photographer for the day.

There wasn’t a cloud in the sky for Taylor and Brandon’s wedding day, and although it was kind of hot in the full sun, there was a beautiful breeze and it was the perfect Michigan summer day. Taylor and Brandon had a great wedding party group of friends and family that were standing up with them, including their siblings that they were both super close with. We got to have a good first look in the afternoon before the ceremony, and then spent some time exploring the grounds with their entire wedding party. We love having a first look because it allows us to focus on the formal family photos directly after the ceremony, and makes the entire timeline much more relaxed and chill afterwards, instead of cramming it all in. We even had some extra time before their entrance for the 4 of us to take the golf carts and head over to a beautiful floral spot before they had their grand entrance into their reception.

Brandon plays the guitar and played a really cute song to surprise Taylor and she absolutely loved it; her reaction was priceless. One of our high parts of the reception was their cake choice from Nothing Bundt Cakes- the entire display looked absolutely amazing and was truly delicious. It was a big hit with guests, too.
