Intimate Michigan Wedding Photographer | Hannah & Annah
Hannah and Annah got married on October 14th in Hannah’s dad’s backyard in the Port Huron area. They contacted us about a year and a half ago to be their intimate Michigan wedding photographer, and we met up with these two beautiful ladies last autumn in Lexington to do their engagement session. We were so excited for this October to roll around.
Hannah and Annah heard about us from our mutual friends. In fact, photographing the wedding was so much fun and felt like a giant party because we are close friends with their officiant (whom we dubbed “the reverend” for the eve) and also Hannah’s maid of honor. Their day was beautiful, even though it was terrifying and threatening rain every single moment of the day. But it never rained, and we were able to fit in all their photos outdoors; in fact, the clouds really enhanced the autumn foliage on her dad’s property and made the day feel like a beautiful Michigan fall day.
Hannah and Annah met a while ago, and Annah has been living in Michigan with Hannah now for a few years. Their love is genuine and beautiful, and their private vows during their first look were some of our favorite photos because even though we couldn’t hear what they were saying- their faces said it all. They were going to get married under a terrace that her dad made, however, due to the weather all the festivities got moved inside a tent. The foliage draping in the tent though gave the whole ceremony a “twilight” (the movie- not the time of day) feeling, and we loved watching them proclaim their love for each other proudly in front of their supportive and loving close family and friends.
If you’re looking for a same sex wedding photographer in the Port Huron area, we’d love to chat. We love any opportunity to be an intimate Michigan wedding photographer, and we hope you love this small preview into their love-filled wedding day. We are only booking limited weddings for 2024, so please contact us quickly if you’re engaged!
