Great Lakes Engagement Photography Session | AnnaLee & Dan
We had a really busy month of July, and especially the last half, it seems like. But we were so excited to spotlight AnnaLee and Dan on the blog. When AnnaLee contacted us about photographing her upcoming (2 part) wedding in 2021 and 2022, we were thrilled. I (Megan) have been friends with her brother since the 5th grade. In fact, he is probably my oldest friend that I have in Michigan, because that’s the year that I moved here from California. We remained friends since then, share so many funny childhood stories, and so when his little sister AnnaLee told me that she wanted Mulberry & Sage to photograph her wedding, I was seriously stoked. We got to work planning her Great Lakes Engagement Photography session with the love of her life, Dan.
AnnaLee and Dan seem like the perfect counter-part to each other. They are both highly involved in the arts and theater community; Dan is an actor and AnnaLee is an actress and dancer. They have both traveled the globe pursuing their theater and dance passion, and decided to make the Port Huron area their “home base.” Dan just moved to the area a few weeks ago now, full time. AnnaLee has lived here forever, but her work is going to be taking her to Indianapolis in a few weeks, until right before their October wedding. They’re planning an intimate wedding with only close family in October of 2021, and then a larger reception in April of 2022.
They’ve kept incredibly busy recently adjusting to their new home; they are renovating their first house and it was cool to hear about all the projects. They also have a dog named Franklin that had to be included and have his cameo, too. His little “smiley face” was my absolute favorite, and it was hysterical to watch him explore the beach. I cannot wait to photograph AnnaLee and Dan’s wedding(s), and hope you enjoy this small preview into their Great Lakes Engagement photography session. If you’re getting married and looking for a Michigan wedding photographer for 2022, we’d love to connect.
