Great Lakes Culinary Center Wedding Photographer | Lauren & James
Lauren and James’ love story is so sweet and fun, and we loved being their Great Lakes Culinary Center Wedding Photographer on September 17, 2021.
We first met Lauren and James earlier this year; their upcoming Great Lakes Culinary Center Wedding was scheduled for September, and they were so excited to finally be able to share their special moment with all their friends and family. You see, they actually got married in 2020, but because of the pandemic, postponed their larger celebration for 2021. Friends and family were super important to them too, they both have large families and we could tell that their relationship was so sweet and caring with both sets.
The two of them met about 6 years ago on a dating app. James had just bought a house in Royal Oak and was in the very early renovation stages, and he knew that Lauren was a keeper because she jumped right in, rolled up her sleeves, and got to work herself. That same can-do attitude is something that really bonds them, to this date. They’ve bought and renovated a couple new homes since then, and even opened up a new business in 2020, as well. If any of our couples are looking for the best place to get an amazing blow-out or nail services, we highly recommend Teased & Polished in Shelby Township.
We also were so stoked to shoot at the Great Lakes Culinary Center, and go back to doing Detroit wedding photographer stuff. It’s always fun to hop in the car and explore new venues that are still close to home. Their food was seriously top notch, and the grounds were so pretty. We were obsessed with the beautiful gardens, the hanging lights, and all pretty stuff right in the courtyard in the back. It was so cool. And the food? Did we mention that? Legit amaze. We’d love to be your Great Lakes Culinary Center Wedding photographer team, if you’re planning your 2022 wedding. Please get in touch ASAP, as we’re only taking a limited amount of weddings in 2022 and beyond.
