Eastern Michigan Wedding Photographer | Morgan & Caleb
Morgan and Caleb met online and have a cross-border love story that we loved. We loved being their Eastern Michigan Wedding Photographer team at one of our favorite Port Huron wedding venues- Solitude Links Golf Course. Their wedding was our last 2023 and we couldn’t have ended it any better.
Morgan and Caleb met online, pre-covid. He lived in St. Clair County, and she lived in Ontario, Canada. No one really considered the distance at the time, because it was a simple bridge (or ferry for him) crossing. Until that is, covid hit. Once that happened, the international border closed down for quite a long time, and Caleb and Morgan had to rely solely on facetime or zoom for their new relationship. But it’s all a part of their love story, and they endured a global pandemic induced border closing for over a year and a half. We met them in fall of 2022 and immediately fell in love with the two of them, and their unique love story that proved so much strength in such a short time.
One thing is abundantly clear when we photographed their wedding on Oct. 28th; they love each other and it’s obvious to anyone within a 10′ radius. Caleb started crying before he even turned around to see Morgan, and the two of them brought tears to *our* eyes during their private wedding vows- and we literally couldn’t even hear the words they were saying to each other. Love was beaming off them.
We joked that our caption and takeaway was “ladies- find a partner who looks at you the way that Caleb looks at Morgan.” Literally, it was the absolute best and the love between the two of them came through in every single photo. It was the perfect wedding to close out our 2023 year with, and we cannot wait to see how their story continues to grow and evolve throughout the years.
