Heather and James celebrated their marriage June 19th, 2021 at Solitude Links with a country spin-that we loved. It was especially fitting since we were connected by running into Heather’s mom at our local 4H office. 4H is something we both have in common and made for easy conversation when we finally met the bride and groom to be. When we first arrived at Solitude Links for their country themed wedding, the rain was pouring down. We had to move the ceremony indoors, but luckily the venue has gorgeous windows and an arbor they set up for their ceremony location. It was a beautiful alternative to the patio. Heather & James opted to stick to tradition and waited to see each other until the ceremony. Tears of joy flowed as Heather made her way up the aisle. They continued all through the ceremony and was the sweetest tribute to their love. As we wrapped up the ceremony the sun came out and we were able to explore Solitude Links expansive grounds for photos. 

Heather and James’ country theme wedding included burlap and lace, wood slabs and mason jars centerpieces- and James even turned Heather’s ammo case into a card holder. Handmade with love was definitely something they took to heart; Heather got a cricut machine and went to town personalizing everything, and James even made 150+ personalized Chapstick holders for heir wedding favors. We love how they chose to get crafty together during quarantine in 2020, preparing for their big day the following year.

Heather had stunning white wedding boots that we were obsessed with. James and the rest of the bridal party also wore cowboy boots and we loved how those boots were stomping on the dance floor soon as the music started. The reception was energetic and the dance floor was packed. There was one point when James did his rendition of the worm that will forever live in our minds. It was hilarious! Overall we had the best time photographing Heather and James country themed wedding day.
