Blue Water Area Wedding Photography | Madilyn & Austin
The only good thing that came out of taking Courtney’s horse to Thumb Vet was meeting Maddie. After spending a lot of time together in the most unfortunate way, learning about Maddie’s upcoming wedding was the only happy news that came from that appointment. Courtney happened to mention that we specialize in Blue Water Area wedding photography & we were so excited when she scheduled a consult & booked us for her June 29th wedding to her fiancee, Austin.
Austin’s family owns Western Tree Farm in Applegate, so you’ll notice that a bunch of their wedding photos are taken at that location. We loved adding in this special little portion and place into their busy wedding day, and the party bus to and from locations looked super fun! We’re getting ahead of ourselves, though. Their wedding ceremony was in their family church and were we were glad to escape the brutal heat for the hottest part of the afternoon. After their sweet ceremony, we headed over to the tree farm and explored their property with their large wedding party. From there, we headed over to their reception location in Applegate area called Shriners Park. It was seriously beautiful with large pine trees along the backside of the pavilion area, and had a large spot for camping too, where most of their wedding party and guests were invited and encouraged to camp there overnight for the festivities.
The pavilion itself was sprinkled with so many stunning details that looked like they were all sourced from a vintage or antique store. It made us so happy to see the timeless evergreen from the family tree farm and floral details mixed with the antique gold items throughout. The lights overhead were Edison style and made for some beautiful photos for the dancing portions. Their first dance with each other, as well as their parents, was full of emotions. We were able to sneak away for a little bit during the dinner hour for that beautiful sunset light, and those are some of our favorites taken from their entire day.
We hope you enjoy this preview into their Blue Water Area wedding photography, and if you’re local and engaged, we’d love to connect and chat.
